The Snohomish County 4-H Horse Program The vision of 4-H is to develop youth to become productive citizens and catalysts for positive change to meet the needs of a diverse and changing society. The Snohomish County 4-H Program is an organization of youth and adults who, in partnership with Washington State University Cooperative Extension, provide opportunities for personal growth and development of life skills through experiential education in a safe, positive learning environment.
The SNOHOMISH COUNTY 4-H HORSE PROGRAM is the LARGEST 4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM in the WORLD!
More than 1,600 Snohomish County youth participate. Dozens of activities are offered every year. Three basic riding styles are taught including:
