Meet at theater at 12pm for a 12:30 show.
The movie is PG-13 due to war related violence (set on the battlefields of World War 1). The main horse does have some close calls but SPOILER ALERT......does not die.
If not attending with your child please send a note saying it is OK for them to see the movie .
Parents and Siblings will need to purchase their own tickets.

Our kick-off meeting for the 2010-2011 year will be Sunday, October 10th at 7:00pm.
(Note that this is the 2nd Sunday, not the 1st as is our usual meeting date.)
We will meet in our usual spot at the Library Administration Building in Issaquah behind Target
(960 Newport Way NW, Issaquah 98027)
At this meeting we will do the following:

Members please some prepared to share something that you are rpud of that happened to / for you in 4-H last year.
If another member or adult was particularly helpful to you this would be a good time to let them know.
VOTE FOR OFFICER POSITIONS
If you want to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Seargent at Arms, please come prepared to give a speech as to why you should be elected.
TURN IN 2009-2010 RECORD BOOK
We only need to see your Permanent Record Book and 4-H Story from the past year.
SIGN UP FOR DEMONSTRATIONS
SIGN THE 2010-2011 CLUB COMMITMENT FORM TO JOIN 4H AND PAY $15
Part of this money is a donation to the county and part is kept by the club.

Labor Day Weekend; Friday, September 3 - Monday, September 6th
We will be attending the Ellensburg Rodeo as a group on SUNDAY, AUGUST 5th so we need to start taking orders for rodeo tickets ($21 each) in order to get our same great covered seats (Section CC Rows H-O above the roping chutes)! Rodeo ticket price includes entrance into Fair.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, September 3rd
All Day - Everyone starts arriving at the campsite. We will be camping in a pasture of one of the Ellensburg Rodeo Posse members about 1.5 miles from the rodeo grounds. There is plenty of room for campers, trailers, motorhomes, tent trailers, tents or sleep under the stars. Water and Port-A-Potty available.
6:45pm - DRILL TEAM will participate in the rodeo grand entry then return back to the campsite for fun and games or just relazing.
SATURDAY, September 4th
9:30am Ellensburg Rodeo Parade begins. The DRILL TEAM will participate, while all others can bring lawn chairs, find a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the parade.
After Parade DRILL TEAM returns to trailers to wait for rodeo grand entry at 12:45pm. ALL OTHERS can join drill team at trailers or return to campsite or hit the town.
1:30-6:00pm - Fun and games for ALL. Stay at campsite and play soccer, baseball, or???? possible float the Yakima River, visit Wildhorse Wind Farm, bowling or raquetball.
6:00pm BBQ hamburger potluck at campsite.
7:00pm ? Talk, more play, or relax.
8:00pm Those families that would like to do something extra, can attend the "Extreme Bulls" performance. Remaining Tickets are $20, $25, and $27 and sell out fast. To purchase tickets go to www.ellensburgrodeo.com or call 1-800-637-2444.
SUNDAY, September 5th 9:00am - ALL will attend the Ellensburg Rodeo Posse Breakfast. Drill team will wear red polo shirts and/or blue coats, all others are asked to wear something to represent Hilltop Hayburners (vest, jacket, hat, sweatshirt etc.).
After breakfast Return to campsite before heading to rodeo or head straight to the Fairgrounds for fun and more food before rodeo starts.
12:45pm Rodeo Begins. Tickets are $21 per person (no discounts on Sunday) "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" Day.
After Rodeo?? Tentative group activity pending tentative drill performance. (More info later.)
7:00pm "New Night Show" $12 per person and includes Bronc riding. Tentative drill performance
Evening Families can leave for home or stay another night.
MONDAY, September 6th
8:00am For those staying until monday, there is the Cattle Barons Brunch on Craig Hill overlooking the rodeo grounds. Starts at 8:00am. Great food! Was $16 per person last year for all you can eat.
Rodeo ticket orders are being taken beginning now and will continue until Sunday, May 4th. Ticket order will be placed by Catherine on Monday, May 5th unless she receives notice from all members prior to that date, whether they are attending or not; then order will be placed earlier.
If you cannot order tickets at this time, you can usually buy tickets the day of the rodeo, but will not be sitting with the group.
***REMEMBER*** Parents of DRILL TEAM members who would like to watch their child in the grand entry, must purchase a ticket to get into the stands. The cheapest tickets are $15. You may also place that order with Catherine for Friday evening and/or Saturday afternoon rodeos.

Driving Directions

Take Exit #106
(HWY 97 North, Ellensburg, Wenatchee) off of I-90.
Follow this road as it winds back over the freeway. (you will stay on this road ALL the way to camping place)
Continue through the 4-way stop sign. (Intersection with Chevron, Perkins and Conoco) It will go up and over the RR tracks as it winds to the right and eventually become University Way (Also Cascade Way).
After you cross over Main street, you will eventually go past an Albertsons store on your right and the University on your Left.
You will go up a slight hill then back down the other side and the road now becomes theVantage Highway.
Continue on this highway past Knudsen Lumber on your left and storage units on your right.(This isN. Pfenning Rd.)
The next intersection you come to is Wilson Creek Rd.
Camping is just past this intersection on the left side of the highway.
