In an effort to avoid raising show fees and also to raise funds to enable the Snohomish County 4-H Horse Program to continue to provide activities, several new procedures will be implemented at the Fall Show at the fairgrounds:

1. Participants will both bed and strip their own stalls and the majority of the proceeds of the stall fees will go to the county program.

2. One club will be responsible for collecting stall reservations, assigning stalls, having staff on hand to assign stalls during the show, doing a night check and checking out stalls at the end of each day.

3. There will still be the opportunity to pay an additional $15 stall stripping fee, which will go to the Club doing the stalls.

4. Participants, of course, will continue to be responsible for keeping their stalls properly cleaned during the show.

5. Patterns will continue to be posted, however, a copy of each pattern will be available at the Show Office for $1 each.

6. Those desiring duplicate numbers will be able to purchase them at the Show Office for $1.

***CHANGES BEGINNING WITH 2010 SUMMER SHOW***
To be more in line with what is done at Fair, the order for the Summer show will start with Seniors, Intermediate, and then Juniors. Medal Showmanship classes will follow Juniors, unless we run into a time constraint and need to run Juniors at the same time. Showmanship will start promptly at 9am we expect Showmanship to conclude at 11:00. Speed events will begin around 11:30.
The show does not require for you to sign up for Showmanship to sign up for the other events, however if you are an intermediate or senior and are planning on going to state (hopefully), a blue danish is required in showmanship obtained during the season. Showmanship points do count toward high point as well.
Idaho Figure 8 also starts with schooling.
Schooling is a great way to introduce a member or a new horse to gaming.
The first 3 timed events are schooling.
The cost is just $10 for the 3 events.
Horses in schooling cannot be used by the same rider in a timed event., therefore A rider in schooling cannot take the same horse into a timed event.
A schooling horse can be used by a different rider in the timed events.

***CHANGES BEGINNING WITH 2008 SPRING SHOW***
If you are primarily a Western Gamer, but would like to try Performance Walk/Trot or Novice Riding classes at a show,  DO your Showmanship class during the Western Games Show , NOT during the Performance Show.

If you go into a REGULAR LEVEL or MEDALS LEVEL showmanship class at a Performance Show, you will be considered at REGULAR LEVEL for riding classes at that show and any Performance Shows from then on.

Your Showmanship Blu Danishes and / or Medals progression counts across AL Divisions.
